Accompanied by the word “Human.”, the unexpected union of the two words makes DrGL® intriguing, both implicitly and explicitly.  “Human” In its most basic form alludes to the characteristics of human beings. To be “Human” is to display positive aspects of kindness and sensitivity. In the same vein, to not be God, thus associating “Human” with qualities that are personable, accessible and attainable.  In essence, DrGL® is a brand which is beneficial and readily available to mankind, promising to heal and restore people to wellness.

There’s a distinct difference between a doctor who has a personal vision and is directly involved in every step of the formulary process and one who simply slaps his or her name on a contract manufacturer’s existing formula.  Abundant resources and budget aside (and time!), we slave over our formulas — each of which is an original, patented curation. We conduct evidence-based clinical studies on our final formulations to prove safety and efficacy.  It takes an army of skin specialists (which is our greatest asset) with a collective 5 million hours of clients’ care that has provided us with phenomenal opportunities for direct observation and creative solutions for effective skin care.  That’s the deal!

Our commitment to effective skincare has translated to success over the years, proven by the numerous awards and accolades won, rave reviews as well as industry recognition. DrGL® products have won numerous international acclaims too, exceeding expectations from our humble origins in Singapore.  In 2017, we were a semi-finalist amongst 2000 brands in the Cosmoprof Media Event for North America, winning a spot to audition for popular home shopping networks such as QVC International, HSE24 and TSVN. In 2018, Top Asia, an independent panel of Japanese judges from the design and architecture industry awarded DrGL® “Top Asia Packaging Award for inner and outer packaging.”  Our hero product, Skin Repair also was shortlisted in the Top 20 Finalist for Pure Beauty Global Awards category.  Do we need to say more?

Almost synonymous with DrGL® skincare, water-based products are clinically proven to give maximum results.  Applying a water-based moisturizer helps your skin lock in moisture and replenish nutrients. And since water doesn’t stick to the skin like oil does, it prevents it from clogging pores and causing breakouts.  While oil-based moisturizers are great for anyone who needs to replenish the oil that serves as a protection barrier of the skin, it’s not going to be nearly as beneficial for your complexion as water.  Further, some oils do not absorb well into the skin and may take much spreading and rubbing before the product is completely gone.  So don’t be fooled by the “unassuming” water-based and lighter texture product (it might feel like applying water), it spreads easily onto the skin with fast absorption and pack a punch!
